Nice truck

One question though how come one fender flare is silver (front) and one is black (rear)

Are you painting the rear one also?

Also i like the tires.

My thoughts exactly...

Great looking truck...  and the 2-tone really makes it much more "original".

The dealer painted the fender flares and that was a no no.  The paint started peeling on the back flares.

Dealer has new flares for me, their from is pewtwer silverado, which have been repainted but with all going on right now, have not had the chance to go back up to georgia to have them swapped out.

Nice HD!  The color combo looks real nice.  I was wondering if you could take a measurement from the ground to the bottom of the flare and let me know what you got.  I originally was looking at an RCD lift, but though that it might be too high for my use.  Thanks in advance.

I will try and get you some measurements in the next day or two.

There are only two levels of lift currently available.

4" Lift - Rancho has a Lift which is designed around the 285/75R16 Tires.  If for any reason you have a need to go more than that, you will have problems with rubbing or worse.

6" Lift - RCD is the main player, in my opinion, at list level.  Superlift and all of the others have too many parts being bolted to gather to give you the lift on the IFS suspension.  The more parts, the more complicated and the more chance of something coming loose.  RCD has worked to minimize the number of parts that have bolts.  It is my understanding that RCD has worked with GM on the  GM Military COMBATT Vehicle which has a 6" Suspension lift.
