5.3 Intake Manifold mods...

Is there a corvette intake that would fit a 2004 5.3 L motor? Other than that are there any other good intakes on the market for the 5.3? I'm looking to put a new intake on and then maybe a new cam and heads.

well, the 5.3L manifold is a long runner design for torque and the corvette LS1, LS2, LS6 manifold is the short runner High Horsepower design. The cam is a popular upgrade for the 5.3L in fact i am about to do that myself in a few months. you can put 6.0 heads on it but i dont know s**t about heads

You can use the LS1 or LS6 manifold on the 5.3. YES contraty to popular belief it DOES make more power. Just in the upper RPM areas for guys with moderate to high lift cams. But its not a simple swap. Gotta space up the injectors, swap water pumps among other things. Not a worthwhile swap for a stock motor.
