Question on new Bilstein Shocks

I just got my Shocks by ups today, I ordered the Bilstein HD F4-BE5-6500-HO for the Front and F4BE5-6501-HO for the Rear.

 

The rear shocks look alot smaller, diameter than the stock ones on my 2003 Suburban 4x4 LT.

 

Does anyone have any idea on this?

I just talked to Bilstein on this and they say this is because their shock is a monotube shock. They also said it has the biggest piston in the industry.

 

So we will see when I get them put on in the morning.
