I was wondering the same thing,Did you notice any real difference?

Also did you have to change your push rods?

The cam is awesome... real nice street cam with a smooth idle, but you can tell it's got a larger cam in it (just not real lopey).

Not much difference in pushrods, just the cam and springs is all you need.

I've been reading up on doing this for awhile but everything I read says you need to change the pushrods and not the springs,But I guess you need to change the springs?

What brand cam and springs did you go with? GM.

Since I work in parts at a dealership I can get the parts at cost.

I have the 2001 model Z06 cam and springs (recommended), they changed it in 2002 and up.

It will run alright without custom tuning but you'll want to get it tuned for the cam, I shift at 6200 rpm and around 82 mph out of second gear now

hmmm , i been thinking bout a cam , might look in to this for my 06 , where was the power increase low , mid , top, im looking for more low end hp and torque. thanks JACk

The Z06 probably isn't for you then... the 2001 Z06 gives you a little low end but mostly mid and high range.

I do have to say though, I have to make a conscious effort to not spin the tires

Did you do the install yourself on the cam? If so how was it. I was thinking about making this swap myself with the lingenfelter z06 cam spring kit but the quoted isntall was around 1200$.
