First i started by making some brakets out of 1/2" X 3" aluminum, cut it to 2 1/4" wide then drilled 1 3/4" hole for tube.

After i welded the smaller pices of tube, the fun stuff starts!!!(Sanding lot and lots of sanding.

I started out with a mill file to get the weld down as far as i could then with 120 grit wet/dry sandpaper, i sanded everything in the same direction, wanting to get all scratches going the same way, then the same thing with 180,240,400,600.

Here is after 240 grit, only 3 more steps to go... YEA!!!!!!

After all the sanding was complete polished on buffer with green compound.

And with the miracle of the computer we have the finished radiator hose...all in all i have about 30 hours invested..
