Gas tank gauge NOT accurate

On a full tank of gas my gauge reads about half. It does start to go down was you use your vehicle and shows difrerent reading when you switch tanks which makes me to believe the sending unit is OK. Someone said it could be a bad ground.

anyone know where the ground is for the gas tanks. Are both gas tanks grounded???
