Help with lowering 2006 Sierra

I am looking to lower my 06 Sierra extended cab, currently rolling on 20's. Does anyone have any recommendations? Any info would be appreciated.

How low are you wanting to go? I'm going to be installing some drop shackles this weekend for starters. Drop spindles would be another good option for the front.

I'm looking to drop it 2-3 inches, nothing extreme...

a 2/4 drop looks killer on these trucks. (2" front 4" rear) use control arms for the front and hangers&shackles in the rear kits usually 415.00 give or take about $10.00. very easy to learn only real tool u need is a grinder to grind off the rivets holding the rear leaf spring hangers. i believe there are four on each of the 2 hangers. kit will come with bolts to replace the rivets. any weekend warrior can do it on a saturday... might start early those rivets take a while. oh and have safety gogles.

i just installed some 3" drop shackles - I'll post some pictures later. Basically just leveled mine out.

Will it sit level with a 2/4 drop? I've got a grinder and access to a lift so it doesn't sound like the install will be too bad.

DJM baby, 2" drop shackles and the Toxic shocks, I love it. Relatively easy install, had to cut the bump stops an inch off, but I got a 2005 Sierra Extended Cab on 20", I got pics up on another thread in this forum.
