Has anyone tried a DIY intake on a 2004-06 Sierra 1500 with 4.8L engine? I'm specifically looking at K&N's RF-1024 which is almost a perfect fit to the MAF sensor on this truck at only $55.00. Thats about $200.00 bucks cheaper than buying their FIPK kit.
