I thought the Air box was bigger also but I don't think that is the case.

Funny how First thing I do when I buy a truck that is a Z71 I remove the sticker, You can put a sticker on anything.

Is there a VIN Number that denotes Z71?

When I sold my truck they told me it wasn't a Z71 because the stickers weren't on it.

I said well you can put the stickers on any vehicle... I asked if I put a NOS sticker on the back if they would give me a extra 2k bucks because it had NOS..

They shutup

:chevy:

The Infamous G80 Locking Diff, what a treat, mine kinda sorta worked for the first 20K miles or so, the problem is if you get this option then you can't put a real locker in without changing the carrier, so now I'm looking for an open carrier so that I can put a real locker back there. Save your money and pass on the G80.

I have always wanted to see chevy really take the Z71 to the next step...In my opinion it shoudl be a limited package that includes

3" lift/level

off road tires

after market exhaust

skids

step ups

sticker

clearance lamps

4.10 only

shocks

sweet interior

i think if they did that they would gain buyers who just want a big and bad truck just for looks but not for use which is what the average GM buyer would be interested....now keep in mind this package would run an extra 7-10,000 dollars in the end but it would be worht it!!

My 2002 YukonXL is auto-leveling (not Autoride).

If I put on Ford keys to level it out, will this screw up the auto-leveling shocks ?
