Royal Purple

I was considering changing all my fluids to royal purple (rear-end, ATF, Oil) but it is really expensive.

 

My buddy swears by the stuff and said he cauld actually "feel" the difference i think he is full of s**t but thats just me.

 

tell me if its worth it because i am all for improvement

I changed all of mine to Mobil 1, etc and i feel a difference.....maybe in my head but that's ok!

I dont sweat pennies when it comes to the life of my truck engine. Do you run it harder than most? Live in a cold climate?

I drive like a mad man, and run my engine hard, any little bit helps.

I guess it is worth it, will the royal purple work with my G80

I got royal purple in the front and rear diff and t-case. As for the oil I use napa syntho(made by valvoline) cause it's much cheaper. I ran RP in all the ATV's and possible will in the dwarf car. I may go mobile one too. It's great stuff just too much for 3-5k oil changes. IMO

New Question, How many quarts of ATF do i need for a complete flush and fill, and how many quarts of Gear oil do i need for my Rear Diff.

 

I don't know if it matters but i have a 2006 GMC Sierra Ext. Cab Short box with the 5.3L and a 460LE
