98silvz71
Has anyone used a TBS on their truck? I was looking to put it on a 98 Vortec 350. Are they even worth the 100 bucks?

Are they even worth the 100 bucks? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Try looking for one made by Trans-Dapt Performance Products. They are all basicly the same thing, a big fat metal spacer plate so the brand name doesnt really matter, unless you need to brag about it. At Summit Racing, the one for your truck is part number: TRD-2565, It costs $46.39, and it is CARB exempt. For $50, I saw some better throttle response and a little more MPG, it did create a 'squeaking' noise at partial throttle openings though, I can live with that no problem. If you have an intake though, you will probably need to cut/trim the radaitor shroud a little bit because the intake tube will probably hit it and not fit perfectly. asilverblazer
I am currently looking on there site but it's slow coming up. Are the dyno results there? I've heard they don't do much, so I'd like to see for myself.
