Question
Zane
This is a one thread version of the three pinned threads from before.
Modifications
Just a little tip guys. We don't modify vehicles from their stock configuration in our service department. Dealerships don't typically get into this kind of thing. We have enough problems fixing 'em as they are built.
So I have absolutely zero experience with trying to make something work that wasn't originally in the vehicle and you are asking the wrong guy about these things.
If it isn't the exact part the vehicle was built with, you will do better to ask others that have been through what you're trying to do. Also, I'm not a parts guy, so if you need part number help, you'll have to call your local dealer's parts department.- GM-Tech
State Your Model + Year When asking a question
Please limit your threads in this forum to tech only questions.
GM-Tech & bobcat5544 has been extremely generous to donate their time to helping you all out, but if over-abused, it may not last for long.
Please limit your threads to questions that are GM-Technician type questions only. Stuff you would go to the dealership for, not "will this aftermarket part work on my truck?"
