Skyjacker 3 inch pictures

Recommended Posts

bfg lists the tires at 32.5 and measure 32.5 on the truck. 4 wheel parts did the install. the front raised a little over 3in and the rear about 2.25in.

I agree this is how gm should offer the ride ht. of the z71. Sorry you don't like to wheels-it is the summer set. I run 305 on 16's for the winter. They are the factory wheels I had power coated.

Thanks for the pics. Hopefully more people will post theirs. I am planning on getting that lift soon. The price I am finding for the kit only is $1200, & 4 wheel parts quoted me at around $1800  installed, with shocks for a 2004 Sierra. Meatywand, where is selling it for $500 at?

I have seen a number of threads wanting pics for the skyjacker 3inch suspension lift.  I have my 2003 silverado 1500 posted on cardomain.  I hope you guys like it and I hope to link works right for you...let me know if it doesn't I will try something else.

Your truck looks sweat!!! I heard about skyjacker coming out with this lift a while ago and I'm glad to see that they actually did it! I wonder how much you have to grind off the diff mount if the diff is getting moved over, hows that play out with the front driveshaft angles? I'd love to see more people getting this on their 1500's!

Does this 3" kit from skyjacker fit onto a 2003 Silverado 2500 non HD?

I would actually change that setup of wheels and tires. Maybe get down to a 16" wheel that way you got more rubber between the road and wheel. A setup like that will be destructive to chassis parts in no time.

The only thing I'm trying to determine is if my 2005 GMC - has AutoTrack?

I assume their talking about Auto 4x4 or is AutoTrack like a Full time 4x4 thing?

3" lift? Do tell. I have done a 2" lift with the torsion bar crank and am not really secure with the extra stress on the steering/drive etc.

I have searched Summit and others and haven't found a good mild lift kit. I'm all ears! Please post the part number, I may want to get one myself....

Thanks!

I have add some pictures to the link at the start of the thread. I know everyone is always interested in how much tire you can fit under any given lift. The new pics show 17X8 AR Forged Sidewinders with a 0mm offset. The Tires are 34inch goodyear MTRs. Some minor trimming was required both on the place air dam and behind the tires. This was very minor however, nothing I was uncomfortable with. Anyway this should make the anti-dub crowd happy...tell me what ya think
