Electric Fans

You should have better cooling, especially at low speeds and idle. More stable temps (less variation) at those low speeds, slightly more HP, and noticeably cooler A/C at low speeds and idle when very hot.

Pulled my camp trailer across Wyoming for Labor day weekend. 1000 miles round trip in 80+ degree weather with a fair amount of climbing. The dang fan was on 80% of the time. When you have a load on you can sure feel the power drain and watch the MPG drop off. The noise is annoying enough. Before I go on my 2 week Yellowstone vacation next year (pulling camp trailer the whole trip), I am going to change to electric. I should make up some dough on the fuel consumption alone. The extra HP and the absence of fan noise is well worth it to me too. The fan clutch system sucks. I wish my Dmax had the electric fans from the factory.

In the FOR SALE section there

is a good buy on fans. That's what

I have been looking at. The wiring

harness cost about $90.
