Dont plan on racing but just was curious does anybody know the 1/4 times of a 6.0 2500hd vs. duramax 2500hd. How much faster is the duramax then the 6.0

I don't know actual times, and there's so many variables with trucks like 2WD or 4, long or short, gears, SRW or D, auto or stick, white (color me slow) or red (color me fast), etc. So good luck on getting compariable figures.

 

Based on experience from driving all of the three often, I'm a automotive repair guru, I'd say that on average and stock for stock the Duramax is quite a bit faster than the 6.0, and the 8.1 is a tad faster than a stock Duramax.

 

 

But if you don't plan on racing the 6.0 will do all posted speed limits within a reasonable amount of time

My Dmax with the Edge EZ is crazy... When I have it on "stage 3" it begins to spin the tires at the end of 1st gear and will cary it through second, and halfway through third.

 

The power that these motors have is just plain incredible!!!
