Retro fit '02 Chev to '03 GMC???

Anybody know if it's possible to retro-fit a '01-'02 or '05 Chevy HD front clip to an '03 GMC HD? Would be a bolt on? Would the body lines line up? I haven't had a chance to park one next to mine and look at them real close.

the chevy and the gmc both come from the same factories with minor changes ( some front end panels, interior, etc... There are some minor body line changes between the years and betwen chevy and gmc. all i can say is double check the body lines and if they match up, go for it.

Your looking at changing the whole front clip (fenders, bumber, grill, hood, lights). Alot of dough. You'd be better off to trade for the exact truck in Chevrolet trim, unless you have money coming out of your ars.

I figure it won't be cheap but it can't be bad enough that I'd be better off trading/paying for a different truck. There's gotta be litterally thousands of new, used, and after market replacement body parts out there that could be bought for a decent deal. In fact, I wouldn't be suprised to find a whole front clip in good shape at a salvage yard. I've seen 'em but wasn't ever really looking for that at the time so I don't know how available they really are. I'm just worried about jumping in and spending the money for the parts then putting them on and finding out things don't line up.
