I highly doubt we'll see SFA on the trucks...what woudl be the reason to do so? The strength advantages are there, but the handling will suffer. 99% of the poepl who buy these trucks NEVER even put them in 4lo, so why bother w/ SFA?

I think that there is alot more people that want it then what you think. Part of the reason is because it will finally make GM on level ground with the Ford and Dodge in HD department. Also the new trucks are suppose to have a ride hight of slightly higher then the Super Duty. They will have 285/70/18 for tires if I remeber correctly. Head over to www.gminsidenews.com and scroll down about 3/4 of the page There is a truck discussion called GMT-900. There are actually 2 different threads One is 89 pages and the other is currently 20. All the info is coming from a guy that ownes a dealership and recieves a newsletter from GM discussing the new GMT-900.

A-men! I really like the whole look. Getting rid of the full-width chrome bar in favor of body-color combined with GM FINALLY moving to integrated bumper / fenders is awesome. Not that I can't see some advantages to the current steel bumpers with a 1"+ gap between them and the rest of the bodywork (still doesn't seem to reduce repair costs after collisions though!).

I wonder what the wife's gonna say when the new trucks come out and I tell her it's time to trade my 2004 in? (Probably short and sweet- "NO!" :( )

I would like to see a solid front axle on the 3/4 tons and up, for 1/2 tons ride and handling is a little more important. Since the 1/2 tons have lower tow ratings the only reason an independent front suspensions is not macho enough in 1/2 tons is when they are running huge tires. Otherwise the independent front suspension works very well, or well enough for the "real" Hummers and such...

All hummers are "real", or so I've heard. :driving::P

I just hope they bring back the two-door tahoe. Those things are kick@$$.
