Dipstick

I've had my 05 2500HD with vortec 6.0 liter for a few weeks now. The engine oil dipstick is a two piece thing riveted together in the center. It pulls hard and feels like it's scraping really bad. I picture filings getting down there every time I check the oil. Is anybody making a replacement one piece dipstick or am I sol? Or am I just being to picky?

 

Other than that, I love the truck.

All I know is that my 04 8.1L has a one piece dipstick
