60k Mile Service

Recommended Posts

I just did a bunch to mine when it got around 68k. I neglected to maintain it properly in the beginning besides regular oil changes. Here's what I did:

Engine Oil change with synthetic 0w30

Front and rear diff change with synthetic 75w90

T-case change with synthetic ATF

Transmission filter and fluid change with synthetic ATF

Amsoil Air filter (About $35)

In cabin filter change (About $20)

Change spark plugs out to Iridium (About $65 with shipping from ebay)

I also have to change my coolant. They say the spark plugs and coolant will go to 100k, but it's best to change them prior to that. Also, my air filter wasn't bad at all, but they are cheap to replace. Fluids were pretty expensive, but synthetic will last you a while. The hardest one to change was the transmission because I dropped the pan to replace the filter/screen, and did a complete flush. Jiffy Lube will do a complete flush for $100 with regular ATF, but they don't drop the pan and change the filter. I think it's like $50 more for them to do that.
