FRONT SUSPENSION PROBLEMS!

Recommended Posts

HAVEN'T POSTED IN AWHILE DO TO SUMMER PARTYING BUT I FINALLY GOT MY LIFT PUT ON BEFORE SCHOOL GOT OUT AND NOW IT'S GIVING ME NOTHING BUT HEADACHES!! I HAVE A 6'' SKYJACKER SUSP., 2'' ADD-A-LEAF AND 3'' BODY WITH 39.5" TSL'S...THEY ARE RUBBING THE FRAME AS WELL AND THE BODY. I CAN'T RAISE THE TORSION BARS OR I HAVE SOME SERIOUS NEGATIVE CAMBER DUE TO THE UPPER A ARMS BEING TO SHORT. IS THERE ANY OTHER OPTION TO THE CAMBER SITUATION OR DO I JUST NEED TO GET SOME LONGER A ARMS TO RAISE THE BARS AND GET MY CLEARANCE?? :chevy:

Hopefully, somebody will be along soon and help you out with your suspension woes.

But in the mean time, please refrain from typing in all caps, as it's considered yelling and makes the post a little difficult to read.

not enough lift for 39's, as for the tires rubbing the frame that's a wheel offset problem. Longer A arms will allow you to crank the t bars and still be able to align. 8 inch would be, IMO, the least to use for that size tire, especially on a K1500, 2500HD may be able to get away with 6" but I doubt it, most with 6" kits on their HD's run 35's, some 37's
