01 cloth power seats

When I traded out of my 01 I lost the lumbar adjust on both sides and power seat on the passenger side. I don't need leather and the 01's IMO had better seats than the 04's.

Big chore to change out? Any recommendations?

I agree,I was disappointed with GM to take out the lumbar and pwr.pass.seat on cloth seats starting in '03.

I'm like you,Don't need leather and can't stand it anyway,Especially in the trucks,GM uses a very cheap grade of leather in all but the Cadillac Escalades and it looks like crap after just a few months.

I haven't heard of anyone changing them out though,It will be interesting to see if anyone on here has done this yet.

I love my 04 seats compared to any 99-02, but I am talking leather. I have dual full power seats, dual heated, and dual 2 way lumbar. I love the side boulster lumbar. I have a few freinds with the 99-02 trucks in both cloth and leather and I can say I love my seats alot more than thiers.

I put a set of 2002 seats into a 2004 Crew cab.

Pretty much a straight forward swap. The electrical connectors are different but I just spliced the new plug onto the older seats. Had to add a feed for the passenger seat, but no big deal.
