cg.LIFT AND TIRES..HELP ME!

Recommended Posts

ok. i just bought a 2005 silverado ecsb. i am wanting to put a 3inch body on it and replace the 2inch block in the back with a 3inch block and replace the tortion bars with ford keys. i was wondering how big of tires i should go without rubbing and what yall would recomend for things to do to get better gas milage. i was thinking a programmer, k&n, and new headers in the exhaust? what are yalls ideas? and can you post some pictures if you have any suggestions or anything like it.

Don't believe the T bars will crank up enough to level it out with the extra inch you add to the rear. Best way to go is a lift kit, sure it's $$$ but our shop fits 35's with a rancho 4" kit, that's with 8" wide wheels. We just did a new GMC Dmax this way last Friday, the T bars are usually set at 3-4 turns above stock. Mine is this way, will have pics soon(when I figure out this new camera and software)
