94 diesel Surburban

I have a "94" diesel Surburban with 190,000 miles. After 20 minutes of driving the speedometer ceases functioning, the transmission stops shifting, and the idiot light on the instrument panel for the ABS brakes comes on. I have checked the codes and they are as follows:

 

Code 72 VSS loss of signal

Code 73 Force motor current problem

 

I replaced the vehicle speed sensor, without affecting the problem.
