Predator update

Got my predator yesterday from Tbyrne, and all I can say is WOW. They weren't kidding when they said the 6.0 is a sleeper just waiting to be woke up. I installed the 87 octane tune which made a big difference, but then I also turned the torque management off and she really came to life. I will be taking a road trip today and will see what, if any, mileage increase I get.

Wait till ya install the performance tune and then adjust up from there.

I didn't get back until late last night, so I never got a chance to fill up and check actual mileage, gallons used vs miles driven. According to my DIC, I always used to average 12-12.5 MPG, yesterdays average was showing 15.4. It is still to early to tell for sure with only one trip, but it is definitely better. I will keep everyone posted as I get more trips.

P.S. I let my father in law drive my truck yesterday, guess who is going to order a predator?

Filled up today, the first tank of fuel with my predator I pick up 2 MPG. Considering how windy it was yesterday I think that is good . Now I can't wait to try it out towing my 35' fifth wheel.
