Flowmaster 70 series

I was wondering if anyone out there was running a Flowmaster 70 series on their 6.0 Liter?

Also - the 50 series (big block) if anyone has run that one.

If you peruse thru the Flowmaster site, the 70 series mufflers are actually 50 series. I talked to them at Flowmaster and they don't recommend any of their mufflers on the 6.0 due to resonance, eventhough they have a sound sampe on their site. But they did say that they are working on a resonator for that set-up. I'm really looking at going with the FloPro 2503 since Corsa doesn't make one for the 1500HDs or the 2500 crewcabs.

I think the flowmasters sound too raspy on the 6.0 liters. I like a nice deep tone. Also it vibrates the hell out of the truck. I like the way my exhaust sounds. Quiet until I give it gas. Hence, highway driving is not so bad.

With my 8.1 the Flowmaster muffler blew a slit. If you know what I mean...

Not to rip on Flowmasters, but I hear the "delta" chambers have a tendency to become unwelded in the mufflers in time - sooner if you tow alot, and rattle.

I have a 70 series on my 5.3 and I love it. #530712 single in, dual out. Flowmaster has been the leader in exhaust for many, many years.

I am running two 70 series with 3" true duels all the way out the back with 4" stainless tips. It has a very nice rumble, but not to loud. I started out with 40 series, and it was so loud inside I couldn't stand it, so I went with the 70 series. I have always ran Flowmasters, and highly recomend them.
