Anyone know if a jump seat from a 2002 Silverado will fit a 1996 full size Chevy pickup (not sure what they called em in 96)? If not, can it be modified to fit? Thanks...

By size it will fit, but the brackets will not match the stock seat bolts holes. I think all you would have to do is drill a few holes and bolt it down to the floor like the stock seats are. That is assuming you have bucket (40/20/40) seats in your truck and not that 60/40 seat.

 

I should have asked first if your wanting to change the whole seat or just add the center jump seat section.

I am actually selling my jump seat on ebay...and someone with a 1996 truck asked if it will fit. Thanks for the help.

Tell them no, otherwise they will get pissed when they buy it and it doesn't bolt in.
