Fairly new member, here's my rig

The pics don't do the paint justice. I think it has a purplish haze in the sun. She's a 05' Sierra Z71 and has the complete pro sport kit. I really want the air dam for the roof or some roof lights. That area looks boring to me right now. Let me know what you guys think..Thanks!

Neither was I carbuster until I put those on and took an offramp at 80mph. Much better in the corners...

Yeah that's true. Do you keep another set, or the original set for off roading?

Yeah I have the stock 17" wheels too. Use them for Nov-March and the occassional offroad session. Haven't taken it offroad yet. Only had it since February. Found my first scratch last week, oh what a killer.

Hey there,

Very nice truck first of all, I personally like the wheels and the way it looks! PLLLEEEAASSSEEEE do NOT go with a roof visor, go with the HD lights. I HATE the looks of the new trucks with visors on em. If you want protection from the sun get a tint strip or something! The HD lights look awesome!!!! Just my opinion but I DEFINETLY would NOT go with the visor! Have a great one!!!

I was thinking that on the visor. A buddy of mine says you can't have the visor if you have the bug shield on the hood. Some wind deflection issues. The visor will get blown off apparently? I really like the roof lights too. Just something about drilling into my roof that makes me screech....

Yeah I hear you about not wanting to drill into the roof, if it bugs you a lot just go to a good body shop in your area and have them install the lights. I can most definetly see your truck with the HD lights though, just make sure they are the 2 on the outside and single cluster with three lights for the inside. Not 5 seperate housings. If you went with 5 seperate housings I don't think it would look too good! Just my opinion though, some feel different about it!

I'm also not a big fan of the rims... Nice rims, wrong vehicle... VERY nice looking truck though, very clean and smooth. I feel the same way it seems like it would look even better with something on the roof over the windshield, but yet at the same time i feel like it might ruin the look.

Why not? Does having nice shiney rims on my truck take away from my manhood? C'mon.. I have 31's being mounted up on the stock rims as we speak. Come winter or some weekend this summer I'll crank the torsions up and slap the 31's on. I got the Pro Sport kit for free. Far be it for me to turn it down...

The truck looks good as it sits. Don't go with the cab lights or the visor it'll mess up the clean lines. You don't want to end up with this: Redneck SS

Maybe just wear sunglasses if the sun is in your eyes.
