i'm thinking about doing a 3" body lift. anybody done one before?

I believe that 99-2door has one.

 

Although his might be 2"...And suspension.

 

 

It shouldn't be too difficult. Probably easier than a pickup because you don't have to worry about lining the bed up with the cab.

I did one on my sister's 99-2door. It was very simple and straightforward. I had my dad there to help but all he really did was pass me the wrenches, parts, etc. Took the better part of a day to install but nothing was difficult.

what kit did you use? did you run into any problems when you installed?

Haven't had time to look for the pictures yet. Hopefully I will in the next couple of days.

 

We bought the Performance Accessories lift kit from Summit Racing. No problems whatsoever.
