K&N w/ body lift

Recommended Posts

I recently installed a K&N cold air intake.

i've always been "planning" on eventually putting on a 3" PA body lift. But on the K&N info it said it was not designed to fit vehicles with body lifts. is this true, or is it one of those things that a little "redneck engineering" could take care of?

what happens to the engine with a body lift anyway?

thanks

But... you can get a Throttle Body Spacer and that will help fix the angle difference. Not sure it would be enough to counter a 3 inch Body lift.(2 inch body lift should be workable.)

Anyway something to look into..

No need to do anything, it will fit fine. I wondered the same thing, except I had already done the body lift and was interested in the FIPK. You're good to go!
