I have a 1999 chevy suburban 4x4 1500 and at 13000 miles had a intermittent neutral condition when excellerating from a stop. It felt like the motor was reving but the car was not moving. This was in stop and go traffic on a hot day. At 20000 miles it had a slip in 2ed or 3ed, again very intermittent. Both times it went back to the dealer and they found nothing. There is a chevy doc number #A000096A that sounds like the problem. Does anybody have any information about this? Thanks Rich.

rlra,

I know of the TSB for the 96's but not sure about the 99's.  If the problem is the same then the TSB should apply.  Here is a link to the archives of the Sub site thanks to #1 Son.  If you have not already checked out the Sub site then you will find yourself visiting that board A LOT.  There is so much info and good people that really know their stuff.  Here is the link, I highlited the TSB stuff specifically, but fool around with the other links and you should find what you need.  Hope to see you over there:
