I feel sorry for you guys that live in areas where snow means SALT on the road. Gotta love our western road sand. I dealt with Michigan road salt for 5 years and will take chipped up windshields and paint over rusty metal any day.

I see no one has pictures of their trucks in some deep snow, so I'll go ahead. We got quite a bit of snow here in Michigan so I found a field at school with about 12" of fresh powder and I had no trouble whatsoever going through it.

Mine at the quarry to pick up a few limestone rocks for road repairs. There was probably about 5" on the ground:

With 3060lbs of 12" limestone rock plus my snowblower. Put me at 10280lbs when I weighed out which is about 1500lbs over my GVWR. Oh well, a little weight over the rear wheels get more traction!
