You'll want a minimum of an 8" wide rim to prevent abnormal wear on the tires. You probably don't want a 10" rim because it may stick it out too far for that set up and you may rub pretty bad so I'd say stick with the 8".

 

In regards to backspacing, get 5" if you can and you may still have some clearence issues. You may have to trim a little bit because they'll stick out more than stock.

I'd imagine they are maxed or close to it with Ford keys and cranking the bars. That's an awful lot of tire and wheel to be sticking out for there not to be rubbing somehwere along the way, though there is a guy a few posts down that has 315's on 16x10s. I personally wouldn't do it because that's an incredible amount if stress being placed on the IFS components but if it's what you want then do it.

I agree.rather have less tire and a better ride any day!!! :ughdance: other wise you'll look like that. just kidding.what do you think about backspaceing size.what is a stock rim and how do you decide what way to go.i was thinking of useing stock rims to see how much room i have and go from there. any input thanks.
