I think the boards really make the look of the truck... it is a heck of a lot of steel under the truck though. You don' realize how long it is between tires until you add a full board.

Very nice truck you have there. Wow...those steps sides are pretty long.

Thanks... you know it was give or take on the bars... I had a 2001 GMC SLT with bars.. much like yours and I really enjoyed them. I think the boards will be tougher to keep clean, but since the 2500HD sit so high and have so much frame rail showing.. I thought the boards helped.

Good looking truck! Where'd you find those nerf boards at? Everything I've seen where I've looked seems to be 2 piece construction if you want steps under the box (cab board + bed extensions).

Sorry about the slow response.. I live up in Canada and bought them from a local installer... but they are made by AirHawk.. the same company that does the heavy duty mudflaps with the stainless on them.

My sunroof has the see through shade. Don't mind it when the girls wear something like it on the beach.. but it doesn't do much when the sun is beating down.
