sad day

Recommended Posts

so, the hospital I work at has "high density" valet parking. the good part is that due to the size and akwardness (6 speed) they just let me park along the back fence.

however, i came in late today, and there were basically no spots left.

so they had me pull into this one spot while they moved some other cars around, well, i thought I had enough room to make the cut into the spot...nope, thought wrong...I heard a horrible sound as I looked in my side mirror and saw the edge of their little hut crease into the side of my baby.

only have myself to blame which makes it so much worse...

not a good day

only 2 faults my truck has, #1 the turning radius is way to large. #2it's so large that it makes the 245/75/16 look like they are tiny. I had a short bed regular cab before, it takes an extra pull up - back up to make the turn around in my driveway, well at the city house. figured out I'd rather walk than try to get in a tight parking space. best way for me to get in the right angle parking spaces is to all most drive by the space, then back up turning, then try to turn into the space.

i agree, if I go to to the grocery store or something, I just park in the back of the lot, because there is no way I am going to waste my time and effort trying to squeeze into a spot. It's even worse up here in yankee country since apparently they don't believe in parking lots (so much street parking) or in the case they do have a parking lot, they think every car can fit in your pocket.

Same here...truck is very big

About once a month during hockey season we go to a AHL game in GR. Most of the time I park in the parking garage, I have to travel almost to the top and select a special spot and back in. It works.

Once the wife and I went to a upper end steak house which has valet parking...they said "can you park your vehicle?" they only know how to drive small SUV's and BMW's. The lot looked strange with one HD in a sea of high priced cars....at least mine fit in the mid range price of the lot...LOL :withstupid:
