Hole in muffler

Is there a drain hole in the factory mufflers on HD2500's with a 6.0 liter? My Dad's truck was spitting out water from a hole in the back, bottom of the muffler. Seemed odd and was just wondering if it was normal, or if the muffler is going bad.

Thats what the little hole is for, to drain any water so the muffler doesn't rot out.

Yep,Theres supposed to be a drain hole there.
