Power Extending Mirror Help?

Ok I have to call out to you all... I have switched my mirrors to the power extending heated blinking mirrors, Everything works great Except the Extending and retracting...

My original mirrors was power heated.. so the upgrade to have blinkers (which works) is a plus but I also want the extending feature to work...

I do not have nor care about the curb assist or memory options.. (these are with the folding mirrors anyway)

So can anyone tell me what will need to be done to get the extending feature to work? I assume a dealer can just turn on the extending feature?? as mentioned everything else fit great and worked as soon as plugged in..

All I need is the extend/retract to work.

Sorry for the long post about something so simple, Just looking to find out if anyone else has done this and needed Just this feature turned on..

At the very least, the driver's door module will need to be programmed. When I program a DDM, I have to select if it has base mirrors, folding mirrors or camper style mirrors. Select the wrong type and they won't function.

Great!!! so a simple program and it should be good?

also you know about what I should expect to pay for this to be done?

and is it fairly quick and simple to have done? they won't have to do

anything else will they?

I'd say on average, dealerships charge 1.0 hr labor for programming something when no diagnosis or repair of any kind is needed. Dunno what they charge per hour in your area. We charge $80.
