No power when cold

I went today to take my new truck for a test ride and ended up buying it. 2003 Dmax..

 

I started it up.. waited about 10 minutes and then head out for a ride.. For the first 5 mins or so of driving the truck was a dog.. couldn't get it above 40mph (I didn't stomp on it). Then it got better.. Once it was fully warmed up..

 

Is this normal?

It could be an injecter issue. Those are known problems with the D-Max. I'd take it to the dealer.
