factory Heavy Duty Suspension option

Recommended Posts

i recently bought a 2005 silverado 4x2, and it has the Heavy Duty Suspension option, but i can't find anything that says exactly what this includes. anybody know? it's only a $100-200 option, so it can't be anything too heavy duty i assume, but i'm just curious

From what I know is that the 2500HD has an extra leaf spring than like the 1500HD

1/2 ton vs 3/4=makes sense. I know cuz my last chevy was the 1500HD and i know my new 2500HD sits higher than my 1500HD. I am not sure as far as shocks go.....also i know the exhaust is bigger on the 2500HD......my 2 cents
