Well thanks to all who voiced there opinion about my next truck purchase....

I arrived at the dealership to order my new 2005 2500 HD 6.0 CC SB.....

And there she sits...

They just got the truck in earlier that afternoon and I was third in line. So I waited around and found out that my brother in laws boss had the keys. So I called and asked him if I could get the keys to drive it and he said shure he wasnt going to buy it anyways.

So as they say the rest is history.......

After I drove it my wife looked at me with this face and said "You know you wont like the gas, get the d**n thing".

Worked them down to 32,500 for the truck and had mine sold for 22,000 ended up with a 16,500 difference. The problem with working out a price on one of these bad boys is they know that they can get a mint out of them.

And yeah some of you will say for that much why didnt you just get a new one. As I was leaving with the truck my neighbor rolled up in his 05 GMC CC that they had just got in for him.... 42,300 with all taxes and rebates out the door. Way more than my just broken in baby.

She is dirty in the pic... Has been raining for about 3 weeks now!

You will love it.

I did the same thing a few months ago,

Mine was $49,000 new I could get them down to $42,000 for a 05 Same thing as the 04 I bought $35,300

Nice! I like that color alot, nice choice with the D-Max. Pretty low mileage too. I'm not a diesel fan but if I was buying one I'd get a Duramax without thinking twice about it.

I'd lose the Westin bars, I think it makes the truck look too low to the ground. The A.R.E. topper looks good though.

I am not too worried about the bars... I am working on getting some money together for a 6-8" CST Lift with 35" Tires.... I think that lift looks sweet on the HD CC. If I dont get that lift the Hummer rims and tires are going back on like my last truck. Although this time they will be chrome.

congrats on the truck. I was in the same boat back in sept. either a new gas 6.0 or a used duramax. only problem I could not find a duramax in leather and the color I wanted...so I ended up going the new route. Mine was 31K out the door with 13 miles on it.

Nice Setup for a 04 model I could have purchased a gas for about 27500 but I just fell in love with the truck since it was the same color....
