Fender Flares

Hope someone can help on this matter, does anyone know if the fender flares for a 2005 2500hd will work on a 2002 2500hd? I called local dealer and they don't know. I realize the fender changed some but unsure if the openings are the same. Thanks ahead for any help.

They are the same, parts catalog has the same number for 99-05
