these are some pics of 88 suburban. its a 2wd, 3/4 ton. it has the scottsdale trim package. its got a 350tbi

its going to be my winter ride/junkyard hopper. i can fit parts in this alot easier than the trunk of my crown vic.

it looks like a pos right now, but it has potential. it sat for almost two years and fired right up last week. happened with one of my crown vics a couple years ago. it sat for 2-3 years and then it starts up no problem. gotta love american vehicles . my dads honda that he let sit for 6 months-the gas gelled up and after recharging the battery 3 times, he got it started. it ran like crap and then 10 minutes later, the timing belt broke,lol

back on topic, most of my plans for the beast are cosmetic

a 100mph speedo instead of the 85mph one

white faced gauges

convert the front bench to buckets

get a center and overhead consoles

replace the headliner with a carpeted one

replace the rubber floor liner with carpet

buy a cowl induction hood

lund sun visor

a set of tow hooks

a brush guard

chromed 8-lug wheels like the ones on some of the newer pickups

and hopefully someday(if i can convince my dad to actually sell me the truck)

a beefed up 454

a 4" lift

and a 3" dual exhaust with flowmaster delta 40's

btw is there anyplace that sells a stick-on blue bow-tie? i'd like to replace the bowtie on the grille with a blue one but a stick on piece would do too.
