lift kit options?

Recommended Posts

I've seen a few lifted and am curious what my options are for lifts. Every site I have been looking at says not for crew cab or not for dually. Is anything available or will I have to modify an existing kit made for another model truck?

I definately want 4 inches or more ( preferably 6" or more) ... I don't think anything less is worth it.

Also... I am ordering a Banks exhaust system and want a kit compatible with the new exhaust.

I found one kit but it said will not work with 2 piece driveshaft. Will the front components of this kit work for me? I'll purchase a kit to lower the driveshaft carrier bearing.

Check out RCD(www.racecardynamics.com) or Fabtech(www.fabtechmotorsports.com).Their listed kits will work for crewcab and dually as there is no footnote to say otherwise. Also, I believe they include the driveshaft dropdown bracket and if it is not included I know it is available from them. You can also ask them about the fit with the Banks Exhaust system. Hope this helps :seeya:

Thanks. I checked both sites but didnt see anything for the 97 3500 at all. That is another thing I have found. Many companies only advertise the newer kits.

They may not list it specifically but give them a call and see if their kits will work for your application
