hesitation

I have a '99 s10 4.3 v6 4x4, and I'm having a hesistation during acceleration and as the truck plains out around 50 it has a hesitation. It's hard to describe, you can feel the truck hesitate for about a half second then it runs fine then again. I changed the fuel filter. That helped a little but, it still does it. Any help will be appreciated.

I figured it out. I cleaned out the EGR valve, that fixed it.
