Difference between 4.8, 5.3 & 6.0??????

I know the 3 are all small block LS1 based engines, but what are the main differences besides their displacements? A difference of .5 and .7 liters equates to a 10 to 25 Hp and a -10 to 50 HP difference between the 4.8, 5.3/5.3 HO & 6.0/6.0 HO. What parts are inter changeable between all the engines? Other than the aluminum ones, what’s the main difference between the 3 blocks and heads? Sounds like a research project to me.
