I threw the long tube headers on it last weekend (took me 4 hours) and she's finally running right after working out a few bugs caused by that d**n K&N filter and a little rain. The new mods are: Pacesetter long tubes through an off road y-pipe through a cut-out in the factory cat-back. I've been told it is insainly loud, but I just got back from a 500 mile round trip and it didn't bother me a bit, WOT sounds awsome though. I can't wait to get her to the track and run some 12's. If I could ever get it launched good it should run mid 12's I just can't get it too hook up on our "poor boy special" drag strip I run it at. :D

Hallsville Dragway It has a little bit of concrete, but it used to be an NHRA sanctioned track until they let the track go down a little and they lost that, up until recently they were an outlaw track, but are now IHRA. The quality of the track has dropped so much over the years, and they are very lax on safety. Now they only put vht on one lane unless oil or water gets on the other, then they spray a little on it. But it's about 3 miles from my house so I keep going.

I guess you could say we are an outlaw track, the only track in the US to still be under the AHRA format. The track owner has had this track since built in 1974, and is now being sued for not paying investers for 30 years! The track is actually a decent facility but it does need work. To sum up the issues, I race a car that runs low 9's, the track does not require a license for that nor does it offer one. If a sactioning body will allow that, you can imagine the rest of the saftey issues we have. Not hardly a single safety (there is rules, they just let alot of stuff slide) rule is enforced in a bracket race. It is different however for advanced ET cars.

Anyway, glad to see you getting your car fast.

I wish I had the money! Right now because of school I'm only getting around 25-30 hours a week, so car payments is all I can afford. The only reason I could buy the headers is because I sold the headers that were going to go on my lt1 ws6 before I wrecked it. Hopefully after I graduate the mods will start flying. TSP Torquer cam 233/233 is the one I decided on, and I'll most likely go with a 9" since mine is 4 channel and I can do that. I'm going to go cam only for a while. I just can't see spending the money for heads when I can run 10's cam only (well not with a tsp torquer). I really want a T-REX :chevy: but I need to see how smaller cams drive first before I go that big.

Maybe my girlfreind will decide she doesn't want me to take her to California and I'll use that money for a wet kit.

I was at a shop here in town last week and I got to hear that T-Rex in person. Good god that thing lopes! He has it in an A4 car too with like a PY3800. Cant remember off hand what he made for power but its a dam quick car. I think he has some AFR's too. I want to get a good set of heads for this motor I got. But Im strapped from buying it. So im just gonna send the heads off to get a little P&P and mill them to bring my comp up and call it good. I just bought a TR224 114LSA and I hope it does what I want it to. Better run good or Ill be pissed.

Aren't you building a 6.0? That cam seems a little tinny. I guess your looking for a little more bottom end out of your motor than I would be if I were building one. I finally saw a dyno graph (I would post it but ls1tech is down right now) for the tsp torquer 233/233 and it made around 315rwhp, I forget the torque, that seems to be the cam that will fit me best for now.

BTW the fastest cam only m6 in the country is running around 10.70's right now with hopes of knocking another .2's off in January. He makes 449rwhp if I'm not mistaken.
