I had 4 new Napa shocks put on the Sierra 4x4. Then the clunking started each time I entered a driveway. The up and down motion of all the shocks caused this. After 3 failed attempts to locate the problem, even after the noise stopped. It was later discovered the left front ball joints had a 3/4 inch gap. And had to be replaced. Any comments as to what caused this? And can it be backed up certifiably?
