I just got my Lift Kit

I just got my 6" Fab Tech lift kit for my 04 Hd and was wondering If I ever sale my truck or trade it in which would be a long time from now since im in love w/my kit can I remove the kit or is it permanently on the truck once it is put on?

I am not familiar with the HD version.....

 

However, I am knowledgeable about the 1/2 ton version. If they are similar in build then the answer to your question would be no. The FabTech instructions should require the upper front differential bracket to be sawzall'd off and a new bracket bolted on. Unless you get a new front diff or the kit is different, you can't return it to stock.

Fabtech? I would of gone with a 8" CST lift kit. I had a 8" CST lift kit on my 03 hd. when I traded my truck in, i took it back to the lift shop and they took the lift kit off. The brackets were welded but they cut them off and re-welded the originals. They did a clean job that you would of never known the truck was lifted.
