How do these tires do with noise are the revos quiter ?

want to get 285-75-16 and 16x6's or 295-70-17 with H2 Wheels but I have to have a smooth ride... still think that the revo is prob. the way to go, I am currently running 285-75-16 BFG's on stock 6.5 wheel (noisy)

Thanks....

Im running stock wheels with Bf Goodrich AT Ko's 285 75 R16, and i dont have no noise, they ride 10 times better than my old 245's (POS), and are just as quite, if not quiter !

I've got almost 33k miles on my 285 Nittos, and they are now making noise. Of course, any AT tire will once it gets that many miles on it. I also just noticed that they are hitting the wear indicators...I think that's like 7/32 of an inch left? Somebody correct me if I'm wrong there.

They have done great. Super in the sand, so-so in the mud, good in the rain.

My 92 has 285 Duelers, and they are just as loud (very worn tread though).

I would think that the Revos would be quieter, but that's only based on my untrained eye looking at the tread pattern.

i just put nitto terra grapplers on my hd yesterday 295/75/16   so far so good.  very quiet and smooth

I am Leaning toward the H2 wheels with the Nitto Terra Grappler

LT 295/70/17 Has anyone put this combination together yet. I am not sure if I would still run the stock lug nuts on the H2 wheel... or is there a special lug nut to fit the H2 rim... I would want to still run the stock center caps

That's pretty close to what I have right now; with a bit over 30k on them they're just now making some noise, but you have to be listening to actually hear it. I'm not on the indicators just yet, but I'm probably getting close.

But, I can say this; I love these tires. They've been more then I ever expected, and for sure I'll be buying another set.

I was doing some more checking around yesterday morning, and figured out that I can get the Nittos for about $50 less per tire than I can get Revos for.

I'm going to check out the Yokohama Geolanders too. I can get a flat smokin' deal on them with a set of AR wheels...Almost as cheap as just a set of Revos. I may have to try them out next.
