New Theft Deterrent System

Found this in my garage protecting my truck. This is the first one I have ever been up close and personal with....probably a little to close, but I had to get a good shot of it.

We had to have our house sprayed a month ago there where a couple of dozen of them outside, then I found one inside.

I threw a almost dead cockroach into the web.....the spider immediatly went over to it and poked around it I guess checking to see what was up...then strung it up with some web....sucked on it a$$ for awhile, my wife and I came back from dinner and it's wrapping it up in it's web right now.

I took some pics of it doing what ever it is that it does. I'll upload em tommorow

I would kill it now that you have seen it eat. See if you can't get it and the egg sack into a container. Then take the jar outside and fill it with gas. Next, set it on the ground and light it.

It's now dead...I had my fun....watched it for a day or so, but I didn't need it making it's next web in my truck. So good ole black flag took care of her.

Interestingly enough, they reall aren't that deadly....Only 1% of reported bites cause death, and usually that's in the very old or very young. It hurts like hell, and if you don't goto a doctor the symptoms will last for a while, but chances are you won't die.

Anyway, Halloween is over, and so is the spider.
