Ford Keys Again

I have fount a set of Ford Keys from a 2002 Chevy ExCab 4x4. I just boought a 1999 NBS GMC Sierra. First off will these fit? Second whats involved in putting them in and thrid how much lift will it give me and how will it effect the ride?

Thanks for the help, sorry I am new to the IFS front ends and all the ins and outs.
